e-WV: The West Virginia Encyclopedia Online

Bryan E. Ward Jr., holds master’s degrees in history and education from West Virginia University. He has written several articles on West Virginia history and edited a book on New Deal homestead communities entitled A New Deal for America. He was formerly the assistant director of the Archives and History section of the West Virginia Division of Culture and History and served as an adjunct professor at West Virginia State University.
