Brooks F. McCabe Jr., a Charleston native and former state senator, is involved in downtown redevelopment with West Virginia Commercial LLC and McCabe Land Company Limited Partnership. He earned an Ed.D. from WVU with an emphasis on planning and community development. He has published in West Virginia History and the Journal of the Society for Industrial Archeology.
