Bobby Taylor is the retired library manager at the State Archives. He coordinates the Vandalia Gathering and Appalachian String Band Music Festival music competitions. Taylor, a fourth-generation West Virginia fiddler, was the recipient of the 2010 Vandalia Award, the state’s highest folklife honor.
